In this episode of the Sorcerers Apprentice, I mean….Lol….Alfred Hitchcock Presents, the master of suspense does some suspending…..I didn’t feel the dramatic pulse that usually flows thru his writing as I normally do in his shows…but this one still worked…but the plot was given away earlier on because after watching a few of the series you learn his writing style and how he mixes delay with dramatic timing and how he usually has your brain traveling a million different ways…..but one thing he did to make you really focus on the movie was his none use of light. Most films that I have watched especially involving Cinema have shown the circus to be a bright place and the circus is generally known as a place to be entertained and delighted and ooohhhed and awwweddd. But if you notice the only time its bright is when there are inside of the room plotting there ideas and things are happening….if you look closely even when they are doing the magic act on the stage the stage is dimly lit…signify that we all have seemly dark intentions and thoughts but a select group focuses there intention there. Enjoy.
In this episode of Alfred Hitchcock presents a group of gamblers get together and do some risky things…..Lol…this was pretty good..I think what he was saying is…..people take needless risks sometimes that can be very costly…..enjoy!
In this episode of the Twilight Zone…..a military lieutenant can see the faces of men that are soon to die. People think he is crazy. This film is just a reminder that just because you can see things doesn’t mean that others can…in regards to ideas and concepts. Enjoy. Thank you. Mr. Serling.
This is just an interview that I am sharing with you that was given by Alfred Hitchcock. It was pretty good and he talked about actors, suspense and building characters and synopsis set ups. It was pretty good….no it was great extract what you can from this interview and continue to make great things. Enjoy.
First off I have to apologize for all the posts that I have written about the Twilight zone because in each post I have wrote Rod Sterling…when it should have been Rod Serling….so I posthumously apologize to Mr. Serling himself and presently to his family and descendants….thanks again for your great creative and social contribution..yours truly Jamaal R. James.
This movie was pretty good..here’s the whole thing…..it kind of reminds me of many different films because each film had a different element in it….but all in all..it was well done and made a lot of sense…boys and girls fighting…people trying to impress one another….it was good. This film was distributed by New World Pictures……just a side note. enjoy.
So online searching for Halloween Short Films and stumbled upon this….don’t tell me the scantily clad women in the opening scene had nothing to do with why you want to stay and watch…..lol…well enjoy. it was pretty good….great shots and simple storyline but it worked…….
